What they wanted
After owning the home for 20+ years, it was time for an exterior upgrade. After completing several other projects for the client, they felt confident we could design and renovate the exterior of their home and make an impact. The first order of business was to remove the existing rear deck and build a raised stone patio with iron railing.
The Creative Plan
The homeowners were very much involved with the design of the renovation as they had been contemplating the project for years. Although the construction of a raised porch that is 5 feet tall has it’s own challenges, Al and our production team made it look easy. Every detail was reviewed and approved by the client before we started and as we performed the work. Although we are meticulous in our planning, sometimes the client has to see it to understand how it will look before approving us to move forward.
The Successful Outcome
Although we performed this work during the holidays at the end of the year, the project went smoothly and on schedule. The transformation is vey dramatic and impressive. Our craftsmen did a great job of transforming this home. The shutters were made onsite by hand. The home is updated and the style should stand the test of time. The homeowners could not be more happy with the results and the customer experience.
