The Maze - Kitchen and Living Room Remodel

What they wanted
We call this project the maze due to all the angle walls in the home. While angle walls may add to the design character of the home but doing so can take up a lot of space and make it harder to use space efficiently. The primary issue the client had was that the living room was too small and the angle walls that divided the living room and kitchen made it hard to position furniture and have good travel paths.
The Creative Plan
After some careful analysis of the existing construction and how the structure’s weight was bearing, we determined that we could use several beams and a column to achieve the open floor plan that would change the way the homeowner lived in their home.
